What to refer to it[edit]

This is not a move discussion...We should pipelink this article and refer to it as "House of Burgundy" or Afonsine Dynasty as much as possible because we are only calling it Portuguese House of Burgundy to distinguish it from the Ducal branch of the House of Burgundy; it is only an abirtrary title that we have to use for disambiguation purposes. No historian would use the term "Portuguese House of Burgundy" over "House of Burgundy," the most accurate phrase would be the Portuguese branch of the House of Burgundy or the branch of the House of Burgundy ruling in Portugal. Even in Portuguese it's never Casa Portuguesa de Borgonha only Casa de Borgonha.--The Emperor's New Spy (talk) 07:15, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

I completely agree. We use "Portuguese House of Burgundy" when as to distinguish it from the other houses of burgundy (spain, burgundy). Other wise, just burgundy. I completely agree with your changing of PHB to just B on the monarchs list and on suc-boxes. Thank you and cheers, Cristiano Tomás (talk) 17:05, 21 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
