article name[edit]

The current article name is "Pope Park, Hartford, Connecticut", which i restored after the article was moved temporarily to "Pope Park". That is too common a name, there are many Pope Parks in the U.S. alone, and I just started a disambiguation page among them. U.S.-based Google searching turns up many. I expect European-based or Latin America-based google searching will turn up different ones higher up in the google search results. It is possible that the Hartford one is more significant than most others, but I don't expect it will rise necessarily to meeting wikipedia primary usage standards, as it is not well known outside of Connecticut. Other Pope Parks will be more well known to many others.

I wonder if Pope Park (Hartford, Connecticut) would be a better name, however. Like for article naming of ambiguous U.S. NRHP listings, appending (State, City) provides a good separation between the name of something, vs. parenthetical geographical location information set off in parentheses. doncram (talk) 02:43, 25 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]
