There should probably be a list of parishes on the article page. AnonMoos 22:38, 1 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Guernsey to discuss severing link with UK[edit]

I wonder if people have seen this article - Guernsey to discuss severing link with UK. The Telegraph is claiming that the States is considering severing what links it has with the UK, and possibly federating with Jersey (probably the most sensible option in some ways). Presumably Guernsey would retain the English monarchy, but fall into a dominion type position. --MacRusgail 16:23, 20 April 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Important notice[edit]

The government section of the "Outline of Guernsey" needs to be checked, corrected, and completed -- especially the subsections for the government branches.

When the country outlines were created, temporary data (that matched most of the countries but not all) was used to speed up the process. Those countries for which the temporary data does not match must be replaced with the correct information.

Please check that this country's outline is not in error.

Thank you.

New structure of Government since May 2016[edit]

The structure of the government has changed in May 2016. See https://gov.gg/statesreviewcommittee. The section "Policy Council" should be replaced with a new section containing information about the new structure. 92.201.58.29 (talk) 07:52, 7 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Couple of issues[edit]

This article does not distinguish clearly between unelected positions and elected ones.

Also there is very little about the relationship with Alderney, and nothing I could see about Sark. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 31.78.2.179 (talk) 10:38, 3 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]
