Context[edit]

The section on historical context is good, but it may be WP:Synth because the cited source does not seem to mention the 2004 scandal. One solution might be to broaden the article by removing "2004" from the title. No need to abbreviate in title either. So: "Logan County, West Virginia Political Scandals".Anythingyouwant (talk) 20:57, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think it would be rendered "Political scandals in Logan County, West Virginia" per the MOS. However, the bigger issue is, what's the scope of the article? Should it confine itself to 2004, or should it cover any/all scandals? At some point, it may also need to get rolled into the article on Logan County or, if there is one, on politics in Logan County. —C.Fred (talk) 21:08, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I leave these decisions to your capable hands. I added the historical context section just to show how long the endemic corruption in Logan politics has been going on. This article is already linked to in Logan County, West Virginia. You seem to want a very narrow scope to the article, and I don't really get that. I guess there has been serious instruction creep since I last edited this Wiki. PBF1974 (talk) 21:17, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
"Political scandals in Logan County, West Virginia" sounds good to me. There's plenty of material on that subject, so I doubt it will ever be folded into the main article about the county (though perhaps will be briefly summarized there).Anythingyouwant (talk) 21:23, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, I moved the article. Cheers.Anythingyouwant (talk) 21:52, 8 December 2010 (UTC)[reply]
