Untitled[edit]

Wondering, but I recall a "toy" device like this I had that had Fat Boys and other MC Hammer-era types, besides Debbie Gibson. I also found a device, recently, that is a keychain and plays current hits in a lil' cartridge. Anybody else know what I'm talking about? Apple8800 (talk) 23:32, 15 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Song List Typos[edit]

There’s a colon next to one of Tom Petty’s songs. I’d remove it but can’t seem to be able to.

Pretty Poison’s song is also officially spelt as “Nightime”, but that’s likely just an error on their part. Pharaoh Phoenix (talk) 06:56, 23 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Non-original recordings[edit]

Although the majority of the Pocket Rockers cassettes are original recordings by the original artists, about one third of them are covers by staff singers to karaoke backing tracks. They are similar to those K-Tel type releases containing multiple hit songs but they aren't original. The tapes that have a copyright notice with the original record company on the labels are original recordings. The tapes with no copyright notices, as well as generic artwork not featuring the artist or album or single artwork are generic cover songs. For example, The Bangles, Kenny Loggins, and Lisa Lisa and Cult Jam cassettes are not original recordings. 76.31.176.167 (talk) 05:47, 11 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
