Snapdragon 730 vs. Snapdragon 730G SoC and affected pages[edit]

There is conflicting information on whether the Pixel 4a uses the Snapdragon 730 or 730G SoC, both from equally valid Google sources. The official Google Store currently lists it as having a Snapdragon 730 at the time of this writing, while the official Google Blog announcing the release of the Pixel 4a says that the Pixel 4a has a Snapdragon 730G.

A list of affected pages is as follows:

Google Pixel

Comparison of Google Pixel smartphones

Pixel 4a

It would be handy to add more if there are any missing so that once this is completely clarified, the correct SoC can be listed on all pages.

Until then, I think the best way to proceed is to notify that the information is unclear currently next to all listings of the Pixel 4a's SoC.

If it means anything, on August 4, the Google Store listed the Pixel 4a as having the same camera hardware as the Pixel 4, including the face unlock sensors. Obviously this is not the case, and so I think this offers some guidance that the Google Store may not be entirely accurate at this point in time. Svetroid (talk) 17:07, 8 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Google's website now lists the Pixel 4a as having the Snapdragon 730G, not 730. Ghostofakina (talk) 22:01, 11 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Launch date[edit]

Is the launch for Pixel 4a still enabled for August 20th? I'm finding significant information about the 4a being delayed until October.
