Comanche 400[edit]

I have fact tagged a number of recent additions to the Comanche 400 section. As explained at WP:sources you need to have a reference to add encyclopedic content.

I have also checked the original FAA aircraft type certificate and have confirmed that the Comanche 400 was a PA-24-400 and not a PA-26-400 and so will change that and provide a reference in text for it.

Fact tagging[edit]

I have fact tagged just about this whole article. Other than one minor citation of one fact, it has no references at at all. It has been tagged with a header for some time but that hasn't motivated anyone to add references.

Hopefully the fact tags will help editors identify where the refs are needed. For anyone who doesn't think it is important for Wikipedia to be scrupulously referenced, I suggest that you read this CBC article.

Please do not remove the fact tags unless you are replacing them with references. At least they will alert readers that this article is unreliable. - Ahunt (talk) 12:31, 12 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pug Piper didn't design the Comanche 400[edit]

Howard Piper no more "designed" the Comanche 400--and I have enough Comanche 400 time logged to know--than Howard Hughes "designed" the Lockheed Constellation. Pug simply told his engineers to build him an airplane that could get him from Lock Haven to Florida nonstop and fast.173.62.11.59 (talk) 00:50, 20 August 2013 (UTC)[reply]
