Any evidence that Sicarii did it?[edit]

700 victims are quote a lot! Considering the conflicting sources on the later Siege of Masada, it seems reasonable to doubt the accuracy of the account by Josephus. If the Sicarii in Masada were in fact slaughtered by the Romans – and did not, as Josephus claimed, kill each other – isn't it also conceivable that Ein Gedi was burned down by the Romans? History is written by the victors, and may just reflect their desired propaganda narrative. Elias (talk) 14:31, 13 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
