They should take down the picture of Phil and Trey. Trey only played a couple of shows with Phil Lesh. The true "classic" P&F line-up is Warren Haynes, Jimmy Herring, John Molo (drums) and Rob Barraco (keys) and of course, Phil Lesh on his famous six-string modulus bass. You can't just decide which lineup is definitive. Trey Anastasio was the first guitarist (along with Steve Kimock) to perform with the official Phil Lesh and Friends band, which officially became an active group (sans a few special one-offs previously) in 1999 following Phil's surgery. To say that Jimmy and Warren are supposedly the ones that helped rediscover Dead music, well......... a) conduct a study and prove it, and b) that's just plain stupid— Preceding unsigned comment added by Steph11 (talk • contribs) 04:44, 18 July 2006 (UTC)

Jerry Garcia

how about taking jerry garcia off the former band members list? that's just disrespectful

According to the Philzone.com fan site, "the very first Phil Lesh and Friends" concert was on September 24, 1994, and the lineup was Jerry Garcia, Phil Lesh, Bob Weir, and Vince Welnick. To see this, go to http://www.philzone.com/, click on "setlists", click on "1954 - 1998", and scroll down to "9/24/94". On the other hand, should this really count as a Phil Lesh and Friends show? If you look at the top of the 1954 - 1998 page it states that these are performances "Outside of the GD and Phil & Friends Setlists." Which confuses things quite a bit. However this page: http://www.dead101.com/1100.htm linked from philzone.com also lists the 94 show as the first PL&F. I don't see anything on PhilLesh.net to contradict this (in fact the set lists there only go back to a december 2000 meet and greet.) Members

Chris Robinson, Ryan Adams, Jeff Sipe, Jeff Chimenti, and Teresa Williams are not mentioned anywhere in the lineup history and yet they are all included in the "past members" section of the infobox. Stu Allen, past members

In the list of past members, Stu Allen's name is a link to another wiki page of a different "Stu Allen" whom is a British EDM DJ. This is not the same Stu Allen who has played with Phil & Friends, but rather a musician who shares the same exact name. Stu Allen who played with Phil & Friends is an American guitarist who has played with Dark Star Orchestra, Jerry Garcia Band (post-Jerry), and Mars Hotel, as well as some other projects. Stu Allen the American guitarist does not appear to have a Wikipedia page as far as I can tell, but certainly deserves one. 131.106.251.150 (talk) 09:24, 28 August 2022 (UTC)
