There are Goths and Visual Kei fans in Japan. They don't associate with each other, and the Goths would be offended if you called VK "Goth". Music genres aren't completely defined by sound and look, they are defined by sound, look, concept, and location/social scene. For instance, we refer to most instrumental orchesta music as "Classical" even though it may be Baroque or Romantic. To most modern listeners it is all the same, but there were different purposes to the music, and styles. Same with Visual Kei and Gothic. You can definately argue quite a few Visual Bands are influenced by Gothic music, but then you can argue Hide was too (See the video for Electric Cucumber).

Look at Mago's current webpage: http://www.under-code.net/artist-phantasmagoria.html They are wearing purple and red feathers and look much more Glam rock than gothic.

Please stop changing the page, and bring it here to the discussion page. If you want to edit the page to recognize they have a Gothic Metal influence, that might be appropriate. Denaar 14:36, 24 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Blood Types[edit]

I know I'm late on noticing this, but why on earth were the blood types removed? Blood type is on the same importance level as birthday and birthplace information. It's important to the Japanese especially, and seeing as they are a Japanese band, I think it should be left there.

I added the blood types back. Please either leave the blood type info there or remove all of the extra info. If it's not incorrect and isn't frivilous information (which blood type is not), it doesn't need to be removed.

Blood type is a valid bit of celebrity information in Japan, although it ranks somewhere just above "favorite color". It's frivolous almost everywhere else, especially in the English-speaking world. It should be removed. Boneyard90 (talk) 12:06, 6 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Breaking up[edit]

I read a comment on Youtube saying that they are breaking up. Can anyone see if this is true?--Eloc Jcg 01:00, 21 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

V andalism[edit]

I found some apparent vandalism by someone whose ip address is 99.247.7.209 I have check ohter things this person has edited and it is quite apparent that they just vandalize. I am unsure how to report it however. But I restored the page, as what was left when he was done was about 1 sentence. Gormanilius (talk) 01:41, 23 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Article Name: Zagreb v Osaka[edit]

There is a bend of the same name from Zagreb, Croatia that was formed in 1988. https://hr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Phantasmagoria So I think the name of the article should be changed in sth like Phantasmagoria (Osaka band). Setenzatsu.2 (talk) 19:10, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]

No reason to do that. That other band doesn't have an article on English Wikipedia. Xfansd (talk) 22:44, 26 May 2021 (UTC)[reply]
