Peigín doens't mean Pearl[edit]
This seems to be from a Baby Names website, but it doesn't appear to be true. Péarla is the Irish for pearl. Peigín means "little Peig", and Peig is just a nickname or diminutive for Margaret, same as in English. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 92.251.179.77 (talk) 09:49, 7 May 2020 (UTC)
