- Check Talk:Peace be upon him in Islam, which used to be Peace be upon him (an Islamic-only article). I turned Peace be upon him into a mixed article which caused some objections and then I just changed it all and made Peace be upon him a disambig and we have this page and Peace be upon him in Islam from there. "Is On" vs "Be Upon"[edit]
The distinction between a "matter of fact statement" and an expression of wishes is either incorrect or just another interpretation—since the "matter of fact statement" would require faith in specific things that happen after death. To most people, it is understood as a mostly wishful expression.
(I will not discuss what is "most" here. Should anybody wish to argue that, consider the point conceded.)
