Someone with the power, please correct title: Paul Sills' Story Theater[edit]

The creator of the show was Paul Sills, not Paul Sill. And irrespective of Wikipedia style, the name of the show uses the American spelling of theater. Michael (talk) 06:43, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

By the way, you can re-name (ie move) the page name yourself, if you'd like (you most likely are an Autoconfirmed user). WP:MOVE.JeanColumbia (talk) 09:11, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Is this a musical?[edit]

Not having seen it, but having heard the original cast recording many times, I would never have described it as such. It is a series of short plays with incidental music. Michael (talk) 06:45, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I agree, it is a play with music, and is described as such in the opening sentence in the article. The Musical Theatre project template is placed on a broad range of productions: musicals (as one would thnk of them); revues; plays with music, etc. All it means is that the article is under the watchful eye of a particular Wikipedia group. (Hopefully a member of the group will be awake soon and can give more detailed reasoning.) If you object, however, you might raise it with that group on their talk page Wikipedia_talk:WikiProject_Musical_Theatre. By the way, I'll make the requested move of the title of the piece in a few hours (I'd like to research the "Theatre" vs. "Theater", since the IBDB uses "Theatre".)JeanColumbia (talk) 08:44, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
(To add: see my note re moving, above.)JeanColumbia (talk) 09:12, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Later: moved, with the new title of "Paul Sills' Story Theatre". The "Theatre" is based on this: [[1]]. JeanColumbia (talk) 11:54, 3 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

68.230.70.134 (talk) 06:46, 25 February 2013 (UTC)This is confusing. Paul Sills had an improvisation, play development technique called "Story Theater" - I guess there was also a production based on this. But this page only talks about a single production[reply]
