PDS Watch Example Replacements[edit]

Particularly dangerous situation → Particularly Dangerous Situation – Particularly Dangerous Situation has always been capitalized by the National Weather Service, and has, it seems, been used by the NWS alone, meaning that there are no situations where the issue of capitalization varies. Here is one example from a page I recently visited: http://www.spc.noaa.gov/products/watch/2013/ww0262.html. This is the most common, as well as the official usage of the term, which is another reason for which this move should be executed, as stated in the policy WP:TITLE and in the essay WP:OFFICIAL. There are, I believe, other examples included in the references at the page Particularly dangerous situation. I couldn't move the page because there is a redirect at Particularly Dangerous Situation. This redirect had a second edit by a bot, and so I cannot execute this move myself. I do not think that this issue should be very controversial. Dustin talk 15:44, 6 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

PDS Flash Flood Warning[edit]

During the severe rain event of 4/17/16-4/18/16, National Weather Service WFO Houston issued several flash flood emergencies, several which included the "This is a particularly dangerous situation" verbiage. I don't recall ever seeing this before, and searching for the phrase "this is a flash flood emergency. this is a particularly dangerous situation" on Google returned nothing other than this event. Is it worthwhile to add this as its own section in the article? Linking/Coloring[edit]

Is the linking and coloring really necessary? The NWS never colors the PDS part, and its supposed be PDS in the first place, so that's unnecessary. The linking is unnecessary too, as it distracts and takes away from the example. DerpieDerpie:D 16:44, 18 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
