The opening sentence used to say that parades are important to Northern Irish culture - at some point someone removed 'Northern'. Clearly they're important to the part of the NI community which doesn't see itself as Irish, so that needs to be tweaked at least. Are they actually important to Irish culture generally? Should I just change it back, or would 'important in Northern Irish and Irish culture' be better? --Helenalex (talk) 10:53, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Article is on about Northern Ireland so Northern Irish is a descriptive locator term. I shall amend. If article was about Ireland in general then Irish would be more applicable but this article is on about Northern Ireland.Mabuska(talk) 11:51, 16 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
