Is the comment about Dames often being played by actors "well-known for their homosexuality" either relevant or correct? Is the article trying to say the Dame is the preserve of gay actors? (Trevek (talk) 08:01, 29 February 2008 (UTC))[reply]
This section is poorly written and not at all accurate. There are many heterosexual Dames in pantomimes, this is just stereotyping. I'm going to change this a bit, since only 4 of the linked notable actors on the list state that they are gay.KlickingKarl (talk) 21:12, 6 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
