No subject[edit]

This camera is not dslr, because has not a mirror. It is not a rangefinder cos hasnt any. It is not compact cos has interchangeable lenses. It is definitily an EVIL camera (Electronic Viewfinder, Interchangeable Lenses) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.84.82.38 (talkcontribs) 18:22, 26 September 2008

In Swedish there is an excellent term for interchangeable lens cameras, regardless of type: systemkamera, which translates to system camera. Unfortunately this term is hardly used in English. (A (single) lens reflex camera is called spegelreflexkamera in Swedish, although many people think the terms systemkamera and spegelreflexkamera are equivalent.) /92.254.216.231 (talk) 20:32, 15 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Sophisticated projection system?[edit]

What's this sophisticated projection system that makes the high resolution electronic viewfinder possible? My understanding is that it uses a monochrome reflective LCOS (liquid crystal on silicon) display that is sequentially illuminated by red, green and blue LEDs, thereby avoiding the stripy colour subpixels of a conventional TFT LCD but introducing sequential colour artefacts on moving subjects and when the eye moves across the field of view. 83.104.249.240 (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 20:17, 13 April 2009 (UTC).[reply]
