Is it a reboot?[edit]

Why is Pan not a reboot? W67915057 (talk) 00:15, 24 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

What would it be a reboot of? The Little White Bird from 1902? And what change exactly are you proposing? Cyphoidbomb (talk) 03:19, 24 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

American English[edit]

In these edits I added the {{Use American English}} template not out of any specific preference, rather that most of the dates were formatted in US-style and the article already employed US English. Cyphoidbomb (talk) 19:22, 18 July 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Plot expansion[edit]

the plot should be expanded a little bit so as to understand what the movie is about. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 181.166.154.228 (talk) 19:15, 10 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Title[edit]

Does anyone know why the name "Peter" is dropped from the title? I have a feeling the title used kinda doesn't make the film catchy. 98.119.155.81 (talk) 04:15, 12 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Maybe its because they didn't want people to think that this could be a movie for kids by calling it Peter Pan, and the fact that this movie shows how peter became Peter Pan

Bock’s assertion “Hook” v “Pan”[edit]

While the opinion of Jeff Bock may be worth mentioning, he is just rehearsing original research and POV, when he says Pan was , “just too far left of center for a generation that grew up with Hook and sees that as the definitive account.” Hook is/ was itself seen as a disappointment (see its own Wikipedia article), and is “Rotten” on RottenTomatoes, so Bock’s assertion surely can’t be taken as indicative of a ground-swell of support for a film that nobody seems to like much? Wikipedia editors may not add their POV or original research to an article. The opinions and research of reliable sources do not fall under WP:NPOV or WP:NOR. Bock is a reliable source for the analysis and it is appropriately attributed. - SummerPhDv2.0 15:42, 21 August 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Category "Steampunk films"[edit]

How is this a steampunk film? -Myotis (talk) 10:53, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]

According to the Variety review, "'Pan' swaps puckish mischief and innocence for doses of Steampunk design..." Erik (talk | contrib) (ping me) 14:16, 13 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
