Gorgon was not considered an Giant[edit]

According to Theoi that Gorgo(Gorgon) was an primal Gorgon of that era, but was not an Giant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 72.11.51.217 (talk) 22:36, 2 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

What's your point? In discussing the battle between the gods and Giants, Euripides says that "the earth brought forth the Gorgon, a dreadful monster" and that its hide became Athena's aegis, so possibly, for Euripides at least, this "Gorgon" was a Giant.

Hello, I know its been years, but we should consider this conversation to be deleted at some point since you're correct in the end just to clear up the talk page. I found over the years that different authors indeed had different point of views and can be quite confusing for the amateur historian (least for me it was at the time). --2603:6080:9FF0:1960:D30:4C4A:A287:3BF6 (talk) 02:30, 13 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
