A fact from Oxon Hoath appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 30 October 2010 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
OK, OR time - a relative lived at Oxon Hoath in the 1960s and 1970s, living in the converted stable block. From recollection, at the time the house was owned by a Lady Bayne-Powell. A search on the net bring up an obituary for Robert Bayne-Powell, stated to have died at Borough Green in 1994 (about 3 - 4 miles from Oxon Hoath). Was he the owner? Is there any editor who is able to fill in the history from 1944-99? Mjroots (talk) 14:57, 21 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Are there any references for including this building is Category:Châteauesque architecture? It looks to me to be straightforward late 18th century/early 19th century English country house, with a couple of tacked on mansard roofs from a later date, which doesn't quite make it chateauesque.
