User:The Bushranger's deletion proposal[edit]

This is a rash, bad faith proposal. The stated reason: "While extensive, this is not suitable for Wikipedia; Wikipedia is not a database for past military formation information." is nonsense. There are thousands of articles about past military formations. Hundreds alone for World War 1. Equally hundreds about the American Civil War... there are articles about past military formations from the campaign of Alexander. We are three editors working on the article and we're adding continuously more material. For anyone researching a past conflicts military formation data is an invaluable source of information to understand strategic goals, social impacts, political context, etc. This deletion proposal is a rash, bad faith, discouraging and counterproductive move, that borders of vandalism. noclador (talk) 08:02, 16 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
