Unincorporated?[edit]

The article states that Oscoda is an unincorporated community, with a population of 992. However, Oscoda Township, Michigan, which contains the "downtown" area and CDP of Oscoda, is a charter township recognized under state law. The article should be updated to include this information. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.112.97.201 (talk) 23:44, 19 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Pictures, Local events, Local museums Performing Arts[edit]

Dear Oscoda Wikipedians:

I put in two new categories. Local events, Local museums, Performing arts etc. These need to be filled up, not only with events and places, but with suitable links, etc.

This article could benefit from a picture or two. Maybe the parks, beach and downtown, or a local event? Can somebody help?

Need a climate section[edit]

I was just to the article on Cadillac, Michigan and note that they have a section that looks this this. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 7&6=thirteen (talkcontribs) 20:27, 2 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Climate[edit]

Cadillac experiences a typical northern Michigan climate, undergoing temperate seasonal changes, influenced by the presence of Lake Michigan and the inevitable lake effect. Winters are generally cold with large amounts of snowfall. Summers are warm. [1] The average high temperature in July is 79 °F (26 °C) and the average low is in January, at 10 °F (-12 °C). Summer temperatures can exceed 90 °F (32 °C), and winter temperatures can drop below 0 °F (-18 °C). Average annual rainfall is 32 inches (81 cm), and average annual snowfall is 71 inches (180 cm) . Snowfall typically occurs between the months of November and March.

Eric Harris references/links[edit]

The links do not seem to work. They should be fixed (and completed with title or description), substituted, or deleted. I'm not sure that I would classify him as a "famous" resident either. "Infamous" or "Notorious" might be more fitting. Rather like Leon Czolgosz from Alpena, Michigan, I think. 7&6=thirteen (talk) 00:43, 19 February 2009 (UTC) Stan[reply]
