The term 'Ordinary Decent Criminal' (street name ODC) refers to the career criminal that does not profit from, nor deal in the supplying of drugs (heroin, cocaine, etc) Nor would the ODC participate in lower scale street crime, such as handbag snatching, house breaking or mugging's. An ODC is a well respected criminal within the criminal community. this respect is often seen to extent to the local community, as a true ODC would never commit a crime against 'their own'. Many of the more successful and wealthy Ordinary Decent Criminal's have been known to financially support their communities through the building of facilities for the local youth. In a way, some are perceived as a modern day Robin Hood's. The list of crime's committed by an Ordinary Decent Criminal maybe brutal and violent and though the ODC may kill within his criminal career, it is usually a last resort.

Many believe the Ordinary Decent Criminal is a dying breed. Younger criminal's coming up in the world today seem to have lost the understanding, that even with crime there are rules, a Criminal Code.

Damon Albarn[edit]

My general recollection was that the soundtrack got better reviews than the film did. [1] In a 2003 article in The Guardian the soundtrack was described as "excellent" but also "completely ignored by fans", (the author speculates) due to Albarn's terrible public image. The article was a 2003 review of an entirely differently album, so I'd prefer to find sources that are actually reviewing the soundtrack.
