National references[edit]

This article deals with England not the UK. NHS references are clearly to NHS England; there has never been a single UK NHS. The legal references only deal with English Law. "Ordinarily resident" has variant usage in Scotland not confined to health services. MBRZ48 (talk) 21:33, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Ex parte Nilish Shah was nothing to do with the NHS. The concept has been imported into the NHS in England - and Scotland by the National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) (Scotland) Regulations 1989. Rathfelder (talk) 22:48, 23 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
