Apparently, OMS is a dead project as of now (March 15th, 2022), distribution ceased, officially attributed to not being compatible to Java 8 and Win10 anymore. No downloads available anymore from vendors web site. They try to enforce their commercial products instead. Someone should edit this article to be up to date after watching for a while, if they manage to re-code in Java >8... 79.255.223.156 (talk) 13:40, 15 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]
@79.255.223.156: Can confirm that it's dead. You can't download it at all from the official site anymore. Are you sure about the Java 8+/Win10 compatibility, tho? Here on Linux with the latest OpenJDK JRE, it's working totally fine. It's also working totally fine on my college's Windows 10 desktops and in fact our database course still uses this software. For all I know though, those desktops could still be running Java 8. Poudink (talk) 20:08, 28 March 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Looking at the installation documents, it requires Java 7. Still no effort seen on upgrading Java version and no changes on official source code distribution (today's Sept 1st 2023) Badscrew (talk) 15:35, 1 September 2023 (UTC)[reply]
