List of ATP wins??[edit]

I can’t seem to find just the simple list of ATP wins. Need it for this school project. Seems every stat known to mankind is here except just basic wins for some reason. 132.147.28.179 (talk) 11:41, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Interesting. There does seem to be every stat but that. Luckily the ATP website provides the top five. Fyunck(click) (talk) 18:32, 29 May 2022 (UTC)[reply]
Looks like that’s just the top 5 at a point in time in April 173.79.1.136 (talk) 10:50, 10 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

The Number of Matches[edit]

Since a few months the list of the number of matches, the wins and the winning percentage is longer (top 20). But..I don't think it's correct. Because the site is only about the open era - people like arthur ashe should be on a lower number.

Does anyone have the time and data to make a top 20 that is only about the open era??

Thanks in advance!

Update

I did some research 'myself' (thanks to the incredible site https://www.ultimatetennisstatistics.com/records). — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sportfan82 (talkcontribs) 07:53, 15 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Only top 20 Please!! Otherwise, the list will be too long! Sportfan82 (talk) 09:34, 28 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
You can't use that site as a source it is a personal self published website of mcekovic and is covered by Wikipedia:VerifiabilitySelf published sources.--Navops47 (talk) 05:28, 29 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough!! Then we use only the official ATP site! Sportfan82 (talk) 13:24, 2 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Big titles - Where is Lendl ?[edit]

Ivan Lendl doesn't appear in the Big Titles section. At present the cut-off is 8 titles Clearly he has more than this - he is an 8 time major winner for starters. 2A02:3032:20B:FFA2:4D8:8906:4E4E:30FE (talk) 14:21, 5 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I see on the wiki page of the ATP big titles that they started counting from 1990 because that was the start of the Masters Events. But you have a fair point! Sportfan82 (talk) 10:47, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Which is why many of these records are a bit dubious. 140+ years of tennis but so many records only count from the last 20 or 30 years. Not even the Open Era years which are now at 55 years. Fyunck(click) (talk) 16:45, 18 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
If we are only counting from 1990 onwards: then Becker's total is wrong. 3 of his Majors plus 1 of his Tour Finals are from the 80's He should be shown with 10 big titles, not 14.
Edberg currently is showing with 11 big titles - comprising 6 Majors (of which 3 were in the 80s), his single Tour Finals victory (earned in the 80s) plus only his 4 Masters from the 90's. His Masters from the 80's are disregarded.
So what the Big Titles table is in fact showing: is All Majors, All Tour finals and only Masters from 1990 onwards.
By these criteria Lendl ought to report. 2A02:3032:210:A153:5E3:5283:3B5:9AE5 (talk) 02:58, 19 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
What is the best thing to do? Make a list of big titles since 1990?? Make a list including the Grand Prix Super Series? Or skip the whole list of big titles? Sportfan82 (talk) 13:38, 21 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Winning percentage each grand slam[edit]

Am I the only one who thinks the winning percentage list for each grand slam is too long? And also the winning matches list for each grand slam is a minimum of 40 wins. Wouldn't be more organized if it was only the top 10?
