Addition of the word "match".[edit]

Omid Ebrahimi was discovered by Amir Ghalenoei.He started his career in Esteghlal Dargahan FC .He joined Sepahan F.C. in 2010 after spending the previous season at Shahrdari Bandar Abbas F.C. in the Azadegan League.^[1] Ebrahimi's first competitive appearance came in the Iran Pro League match against Rah Ahan on 27 July 2010, where he played the full 90 minutes.

-An editor has objected to inserting the word match making the paragraph end where he played the full 90 minutes match.

- I do not believe in edit warring and hence I would like to know the opinion of other editors and would like to add the simple word when other contributors feel the necessity. Regards, Hindustanilanguage (talk) 05:14, 13 June 2013 (UTC).[reply]

2 reasons - 1) It's bad English: it is normal to say 'he played the full 90 minutes' and 2) The word 'match' is already used in the sentence, so the 90 minutes refers to the match already mentioned. Regards Denisarona (talk) 06:32, 17 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
