Fair use rationale for Image:Oldskull1.gif[edit]

Image:Oldskull1.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

Best Show on WFMU[edit]

Not really sure why some prank on a radio show has anything to do with the band's history. These articles should focus on the artists with maybe a small mention at the end of the article under "influence" or "in popular culture" if at all. I'd vote for the former. I think it does a disservice to the band to detail their entry into a discussion on an episode of some radio show the band had no involvement in. Lemonlimeotter (talk) 20:37, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It has equal relevance to entries within other articles that deal with their subjects being mentioned or used within other media. It was a instance where the band was notable enough to mention within a popular radio show, even if it wasn't actually them. It also coincided with their actual reunion performance. It's hardly a "disservice" to the band to note a notable mention on a radio show.
To be fair, it may not belong in the actual reunion section. I've moved it to a section more reflective of the band's reach. It could also be used for any other notable media mentions or acknowledgments. NJZombie (talk) 22:00, 8 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]
