Seriously, what is the historical significance of the name "old cummer?" Does anyone know what this station is named after? Has GO ever considered renaming it, due to it's modern connotation? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 76.189.109.255 (talk) 02:22, 3 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Its named after a citizen of some significance who lived there, Jacob Kummer. Changing it would be an unconscionable offense against the lulz, so I hope they never do that.

i was genuinely very confused the first time i drove past old cummer but i’m very glad it exists, i would organize a protest if they tried to change the name Bdarcyalex (talk) 16:48, 1 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
