archaeology[edit]

It was long held, based on original dating, that a worked bone from the site was pre-Clovis (ca. 27K BP). According to http://www.tc.gov.yk.ca/publications/ice_age_old_crow.pdf, p. 13, a more recent 14C dating indicates it is only 2KBP. Thus, its signifcance for archaeology is greatly reduced.
