Name[edit]

The act was enacted and repealed without getting a short title. It was called the "Oaths Bill" during its passage in parliament, and there is a little evidence for "Oaths Act 1858" as an unofficial name, but I think the regnal year + chapter (21 & 22 Vict. c.48) happens to be the most common name. jnestorius(talk) 19:06, 19 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
