Nishabdham is a Tollywood(Telugu) film.The movie was made Bilingually in Telugu and Tamil made by Tollywood (Telugu).It is an 2020 Telugu language film not 2017 tamil language film.Also it is a Telugu language thriller film not indian thriller film. you should respect the industry from where the movie was made not simply mix it as indian,just identify our industry. Not done - Wikipedia is a dispassionate encyclopedia. We're not here to praise or "respect" ethnic film industries, we're here to present basic information about a film: when it was produced, what nation it come from, who directed it, who wrote it, what language(s) it was produced in, etc. This is standard operating procedure for tens of thousands of film articles from across the world. Amazon Prime Original[edit]

@Ab207, Cyphoidbomb, TamilMirchi, and Kailash29792: So after noticing the poster the film is marketed as an Amazon Original Film. Now if you look at the posters for V and Soorarai Pottru both of them state as Amazon Presents. As of what I know shows and movies produced by Prime are presented as Amazon Originals. In the case of V and Soorarai Pottru they are credited as distributing the film not producing it. In this case I think Prime should be credited as a producer. I don't know enough about the workings of Amazon Prime to know how that goes. For all we know, they could just slap their name onto anything they stream, because why wouldn't they? If it was produced by Amazon Studios, that might be a different issue. There are probably a couple of ways they go about getting content: maybe they produce it in-house and pay for it themselves; maybe they enter into a co-production deal with someone; or maybe someone else funds and produces the film and Amazon pays for first broadcast rights, at which point Amazon would negotiate to be able to slap an "Amazon Original Movie" label on it. The people at WT:FILM might have some ideas about this. However, if we don't know for sure, we should not add our speculations to the article, which I'm sure you know. Yep, we don't know exactly what it means. The film was intended for theatrical release, so obviously Amazon is not involved in the production. My guess is that Amazon original means its exclusive to Prime Video and won't be available elsewhere including TV. For now, I added it as a distributor as a common practice of direct-to-OTT films. It would be best if we wait til the movie releases to see what the production credits are, or see if there is a reliable source. I think we should avoid speculation, even if there seem to be patterns forming. BOVINEBOY2008 18:27, 19 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]

@DareshMohan: I think this poster is for Nishabdam. The poster of Silence has Tamil and Malayalam.

The version on Prime Video does not have a CBFC certificate (since it's a direct streaming release). The version that airs on TV (Zee) would have been certified but don't know how can we access that. -- Ab207 (talk) 06:04, 18 June 2022 (UTC)[reply]

Can someone access the CBFC certificate? Looks like most of the film is dubbed:

despite the filmmakers publicising it as a Telugu-Tamil bilingual (the Telugu version is titled Nishabdham), the Tamil version resembles a dubbed film, and a dreary one at that. DareshMohan (talk) 06:28, 12 August 2022 (UTC)[reply]
