I think the sentence "On 29 May 2024, President Bola Tinubu signed into law a bill reinstating the anthem" should not be on the Lead since we have it on body section, History.
Tinubu signing the the doesn't really matter on the Lead of this article page. He's just an individual not the country itself. wɔːr (talk) 06:24, 1 June 2024 (UTC)

- Thanks for the ping! I personally disagree, because the reinstating of the anthem is relevant to the article. If it were about the new president being elected or something unrelated like that, I would agree; but in this instance it is important. Otherwise, readers have incomplete information. If the lede didn't have the sentence, it would read "
Nigeria's former anthem, "Arise, O Compatriots," was adopted in 1978, replacing "Nigeria, We Hail Thee."
