Italian-Americans?[edit]

Aside from the obvious, do you have a good source for the category? I couldn't find anything JackO'Lantern 07:32, 8 April 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Does anyone know why his dob was changed from 1979 to 1978? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.177.171.22 (talk) 15:49, 14 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Greek etymology? The Zanes of ancient Olympia were bronze statues of Zeus. The name Zanes was the plural of Zeus in the local dialect.

The Treaty of Alliance and Friendship (Serbian: Уговор о савезу и пријатељству) was signed between Serbia and Greece on 26 August [O.S. 14 August] 1867.[4] The treaty had been negotiated by Greek minister Petros Zanos and Serbian ministers Jovan Ristić, Milan Petronijević and Ilija Garašanin (who had met with Zanos at the beginning).

To the memory of his friend Vasilis Zanos, Mikis Theodorakis wrote the work "ELEGY AND LAMENT FOR VASILIS ZANOS." Vasilis Zanos was killed during the Greek Civil War.

Birth name[edit]

I removed "Crapanzano" as his birth name because (a) it was unsourced and (b) it looked like disguised vandalism. The change dates back to June of 2009. It was changed again more recently. The addition of that surname was from anonymous IPs, which made vandalistic, or at best unsourced, edits. I also added an invisible note to the effect that changes without sources will be reverted. --Ebyabe (talk) 16:43, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I can't find any reliable sources, but many fan sites are reporting his name as "Crapanzano". I don't think it is vandalism but it definitely needs to be sourced. BOVINEBOY2008 :) 22:52, 30 August 2009 (UTC)[reply]
