Trivia[edit]

Wikipedia:Avoid trivia sections in articles: Can we put the info under the Triva under a different section? If not, it should be removed; it does not seem revelent to the article. —User:Christopher Mann McKay 17:48, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Majority of life in Portland?[edit]

"A significant portion of the proceeds will go to Outside In, a social service agency for low-income adults and homeless youth in Portland, Oregon, the city where Smith resided for the majority of his life."

Elliott lived in Portland from 1983-1987 and then again from 1992-2000; that equals a total of 12 years and Elliott was 34 years old when he died. I have no idea why this article claims he lived there for a majority of his life (less than 50% is not a majority). I am going to reword this sentence. —User:Christopher Mann McKay 17:59, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

how about, "majority of his adult life"? —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 144.139.97.250 (talkcontribs) 20:34, 20 May 2007.

I changed "majority of his life" to "a significant portion of his life" on the Elliott Smith article; however, "majority of his adult life" sounds good also. —User:Christopher Mann McKayuser talk 05:20, 21 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Songwriting Credits For "See You Later" And "Half Right"[edit]

The songwriting credits for these two songs conflict with the credits listed in the Wikipedia entry for Heatmiser's Mic City Sons album, where the songs are credited solely to Smith: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mic_City_Sons
