Questions[edit]

hello can anybody help to put a blue box in this article; thank you, Why was under equestrianismthe added informtion on "Criticism of horses in sport" delated?

--Angelika NHE1 (talk) 22:24, 21 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The Nevzorov theories are a WP:FRINGE view and are not appropriate in a mainstream article. Montanabw(talk) 23:21, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, I would be thankful for support. --Angelika NHE1 (talk) 19:34, 22 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Angelika, go over to the WP:TEAHOUSE to get help. Looks like you do not speak English as a first language, and so you need help with both wikipedia procedures and basic writing style. Montanabw(talk) 23:21, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

advertising?[edit]

If you think this is a ad , you are wrong. The relation to my name exists, because I am new on wikipedia and do not know how it works. - So I did not choose a fantasyname (like the most of you) but my real name and the topic I am writing over! By the way, I took part in equine sport in Europe.--Angelika NHE1 (talk) 22:20, 23 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Please read WP:COI, and WP:NOADS. These will explain our concerns. Montanabw(talk) 23:21, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
The major contributor seems to be an SPA to publicize the method or whatever it is (I haven't begun the copyedit :-)); since they haven't edited in a long time, there's nothing administrative to be done unless they resume editing this article. I've tagged the entire article {{COI}}, will introduce the fringe aspect and bring it within NPOV. Miniapolis 23:40, 1 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I think a COI is accurate, I don't think this is a sock. If you need a hand, let me know, I can answer the horse questions. Montanabw(talk) 09:50, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]
No, I don't think it's a sock either but their username is related to the article's subject and their only edits have been to this article. I've finished the copyedit; it was one of the older articles in the backlog. All the best, Miniapolis 14:01, 2 May 2014 (UTC)[reply]

a lot to do[edit]

thank you all for your support and help, I try to make the article Wikipedia -fit. Yes, my mother tongue is not English. But good science work is always written in English. Should I mention less external-links?--Angelika NHE1 (talk) 21:09, 25 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

See WP:CITE and WP:V. Ideally, your external links will eventually become footnotes to verify the material in the article. Here's a helpful tip: If you use the "insert citation" link that appears as the " {{ }} " symbol when you open an edit window, you can just enter all the info you can find for each source and the link will do the formatting for you. As a rule, see WP:EL for the best way to use external links. To give you an example, see an article I worked on a bit, Budweiser Clydesdales, where I used a lot of footnotes to verify things in the article, but have a bunch of external links to the actual TV commercials, which can't be posted directly on wikipedia. The biggest pitfall I see for you here is that this article is about things that fall well outside of mainstream horsemanship and equitation science, so you may also want to read WP:FRINGE to see how you can make this article an objective, balanced one that doesn't read like advertising or promotion. God luck!Montanabw(talk) 23:37, 26 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

How long will I have time to improve the article? Good to know that there are a lot of helping topics on Wikipedia. You are right Montanabw, at the moment a minority of horse owners practice NHE, but a lot of people search objectiv information about the school. This I try to do. I compare NHE with the architecture of Classic and Rococo. Rococo was/is overloaded with decoration and a "little" group of artists find/ found it perfect. So NHE is for the horse`s world. Those who practices sport will reject it, others who are interested in animal welfare will like it.--Angelika NHE1 (talk) 12:58, 27 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

No real deadline, but you might want to "sandbox" a copy of the article in your own userspace (click here to make a sandbox: User:Angelika NHE1/Sandbox just in case a random editor goes on a deletion binge and challenges your material, which, at the moment is rather weak and could be subject to challenge. I'm not going to be that person on this article, but you will want to find the best possible sources for your material, as most of the "in-house" research is going to be easily challenged and "fringe" research. See also WP:NOR to explain more on this. Montanabw(talk) 21:15, 27 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]

thanks to the native -speakers[edit]
