how this should work[edit]

Need a consensus on how this should work. Other "XXX Public Radio" articles (i.e. Connecticut, Maine, Texas, Jefferson, etc...) all have multiple stations pointing to one article.

Perhaps individual stations should all get their own pages, but there won't be much to talk about, so I combined for now. --EnronsBack (talk) 01:54, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Wikipedia:WikiProject Radio Stations is really the guide here. In many other states, all of the stations carry a common feed so how that is handled would be different then in a state where they use several different formats. Vegaswikian (talk) 03:12, 13 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

merge proposal[edit]

It has been proposed that all station specific articles for Nevada Public Radio stations be merged here. Stations which provide no local programming or other content and carry nothing but network provided programming lack sufficient notability to warrant an article. However, any station that does provide sufficient local programming or has a history (such as ownership changes) which warrants coverage, should not be merged. See WP:WPRS for more information. KNPR does have its own programming. So I don't see a reason to merge. Also, this does not consider the HD broadcasts. What are the sources for the HD channels? Vegaswikian (talk) 22:56, 22 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]
KCNV, if it really brroadcasts Classical 24, then it should be merged there if I understand the merger process that is currently in favor. However since it is part of two networks., they may not be the correct action. This probably needs to be discussed some place other then here since it is a much broader issue.
