The title of this should be changed to "Siege of Navarino"

This is a poorly written article. Even if all the facts that it mentions are accurate, there is still a bias in the article about good innocent Turks and bad Greeks, which severely lessens the value of the information contained in it. There is no context given about what had happened in the past (Ottoman occupation, oppression of Greeks in other parts of Greece, etc.). Shouldn't we have matured enough to be able to leave aside our personal strong feelings when we decide to write an article in Wikipedia about a historic event? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.97.26.194 (talk) 08:59, 13 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

So according to you, the fact that the Ottoman government conquered and controlled Greece is justification for ethnically cleansing civilians? Think about what you are saying, it’s like justifying Native Americans massacring white American civilians. Not a good argument. Yeah the Greek soldiers and irregulars were the bad guys here, definitely not the Muslim civilians. TheNewLetters (talk) 21:06, 20 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
