Wayne Junction Historic District[edit]

Is Wayne Junction (SEPTA station) itself part of the "Wayne Junction Historic District?" I can't open up any links to determine whether it is or not. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 01:28, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]

According to this [1] it seems to be. I can't get anything on CRGIS PA, but know I had a map when I took the pix. I seem to remember that I already had pix of the station, because it was already listed (maybe twice before! in different districts). Smallbones(smalltalk) 03:00, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Good to know. Because User:Mackensen stuck a Colonial Germantown Historic District commons tag tag on it, and I've actually got a sandbox of a combined trains-NRHP infobox suggesting that it's part of the Wayne Junction district. ---------User:DanTD (talk) 16:03, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
OK, it is a part of the Colonial Germantown Historic District, quoting p.20

"4500 Wayne Junction Station, Philadelphia and Reading Railroad, 1900, Wilson Brothers and Company, architects, two stories, brick with terra cotta and wood trim, Renaissance Revival style. An important suburban railroad station by Philadelphia's leading late nineteenth-century engineering firm. —— Significant."

I think the Wayne Junction HD also contains it (stranger things happen fairly often) and I'll check on another HD, but think that just borders it. Smallbones(smalltalk) 17:15, 19 December 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Okay, so what do you think of my version of the new infobox now? ---------User:DanTD (talk) 23:38, 8 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Parkin a pic[edit]

File:OAKS CLOISTER, NORTHWEST PHILADELPHIA, PA.jpg This seems to have already been, or is just about to be added as Oaks Cloister . Smallbones(smalltalk) 17:15, 29 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks, that worked. Smallbones(smalltalk) 01:04, 28 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
