The term 'national league' is used around the world for leagues of various sports and political movements, there is no clear reason why the current primary topic is the North American baseball league, which receives around 10% of the monthly views of the English National League (division) for example. The cleanest and least controversial thing to reach consensus on is the have National League point to this disambiguation page, as there are such a broad range of uses of pages with variations on this name.
