Anecdotal aside[edit]

Anne-Marie Errembault de Dudzeele was actively involved in acts of resistance, despite the presence of Germans at the mill, Moulin des Clayes, in Saint Remy, France, which had been entrusted to her parents care when the sculptor, Edward Bruce Douglas escaped to the USA during WW2.
