Name[edit]

  • I suggest we keep the shorter name of him since he's known as Namık Kemal in his homeland, Turkey. --Bahar (Spring in Turkish) 15:50, 6 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • Why does the article title start with a lower-case letter? —Sesel (talk) 20:28, 6 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]
In front of one of the references there was the template {{TR}} – which makes the article title start with a lower-case letter – instead of {{Tr}} – which warns the reader the language of the reference is . I've fixed it.  --Lambiam 22:00, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Comment on copyvio[edit]

Not all the article was taken from the Britannica, might be possible to clean up the copyrighted part keeping the clean ones instead of deleting the whole article.--Kimdime (talk) 09:03, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I've restored the revisions that aren't violations now. - Tbsdy (formerly Ta bu shi da yu) talk 13:46, 15 February 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Citation for influence on Ataturk?[edit]

Is there a citation for Namik Kemal's influence on Ataturk? I've been looking for this for a while... —Preceding unsigned comment added by 130.64.109.109 (talk) 22:41, 29 November 2010 (UTC)[reply]

an unsourced quote[edit]

The quote on the treatment of women has no reference. All that is claimed is that these words are in a completely obscure article written in 1967. What's the title of the article? It seems like someone simply borrowed them from Bernard lewis who has constantly been citing them for decades. Unless a reference is provided for the quote it doesn't belong here.

Bektashi und Freemason[edit]

There is thousands source's about that.... Why it isn't considered?
