In front of one of the references there was the template {{TR}} – which makes the article title start with a lower-case letter – instead of {{Tr}} – which warns the reader the language of the reference is . I've fixed it. --Lambiam 22:00, 6 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

an unsourced quote[edit]

The quote on the treatment of women has no reference. All that is claimed is that these words are in a completely obscure article written in 1967. What's the title of the article? It seems like someone simply borrowed them from Bernard lewis who has constantly been citing them for decades. Unless a reference is provided for the quote it doesn't belong here.
