Inconsistent units[edit]

NGC 6717, Palomar 9, also known as Abel 9. Who was Abel?[edit]
From my explorations in not-so-recent catalogs of astronomical objects, I discovered the existence of what seems to be the ABEL catalogue of globular clusters (ABEL, without the second L of ABELL). The object known as NGC 6717 and Palomar 9 is also known as Abel 9. Who was Abel? Or... was it a typographical error in the name of the astronomer Abell? If NGC 6717 is indeed known as Abel 9, it could be interesting to include number 9 of this catalog (ABEL) in the article. DannyCaes (talk) 20:45, 1 October 2022 (UTC)
