2009[edit]

I see that this page has been tagged for "speedy deletion." The page is in no way intended to advertise mySupermarket. It has been amply sourced and does a good job, I believe, of explaining what the company is and what it does without advertising, blatant or otherwise.

I'd like to add the "hangon" tag but didn't see the "db" tag; can someone instruct me where I should put it? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Michalnas (talkcontribs) 08:48, August 24, 2009

2013[edit]

{{request edit}} mySupermarket would like to update some information about the rounds of investment funding we received, the information listed on our main page is not 100% accurate. We would like to make it accurate! It's factual information and we have press citations that can be added. We tried to update this ourselves but it was removed. Please look though the page history and see the deleted text and citations from December. What do we need to do in order to update our page with this information? if we need to add more citations we can do this. We also tried to update some site features which have become an integral part of how the mySupermarket site works. Without these new features explained we feel that we are not providing the general public with up to date information about the company. I understand that you might not like the way I wrote the text but the information inside it is important. (Adelman0987 (talk) 10:32, 1 January 2013 (UTC))[reply]

What you need to do is write, on here and with the edit request tag, the exact edits you would like making, in as neutral a way as you can and with reliable 3rd party references to back them up, and neutral editors will be able to review them--Jac16888 Talk 19:46, 1 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

False Information ?[edit]

Not only is this page "written like an advertisement" but the whole 'MySupermarket' enterprise appears highly suspect, suggesting that it deserves a very different type of entry. My investigations show that MySupermarket in no way offers comparisons of supermarket prices but presents a very obviously highly biased data set which falsely favours 'Asda' in the UK and their parent company 'Wal-Mart' in the USA. Could it be the case that this is yet another advertising enterprise pretending to be a 'Comparison Site' and using Wikipedia to promote it? Glynhughes (talk) 08:45, 27 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

@Glynhughes

Please provide evidence to support your assertions. I suppose you also think that MY recent addition of "Morrisons" is advertising. To be clear, I am a UK consumer with no connection whatsoever to MySupermarket. Wikipedia is an encyclopaedia --- encyclopaedias are information sources. It seems that some editors are more interested in censorship in all its guises. Deleting this page would be a nonsense. --Chris Caven (talk) 11:50, 5 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Notability tag[edit]

The AfD closed as no consensus, so I added a notability tag to the article. K.e.coffman (talk) 03:07, 7 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The deletion arguments were on the basis of the article being promotional spam, so if anything an "advert" template would be more appropriate rather than a "notability" template. Not that I agree it is written like an advert either. Sionk (talk) 12:16, 8 January 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/MySupermarket (3rd nomination) closed with a keep result. I have removed the notability template. North America1000 21:46, 10 October 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Business model[edit]

The business model section doesn't explain their business model, i.e. how the site makes money.217.138.122.9 (talk) 14:13, 12 August 2021 (UTC)[reply]
