Seral succession[edit]

(Moved from Dudley Miles talk page)

By 'to prevent seral succession' I meant to prevent the meadow from gradually transitioning to forest. It's A-level Geography. Maybe Google something before you undo it.

1. A Wikipedia article should be comprehensible to general readers, not A level geography students. 2. Googling suggests it does not mean what you say, but is a general term for an intermediate stage in a succession of ecological channges. 3. Your comment is an unreferenced addition to a paragraph about access.
I will therefore revert. Dudley Miles (talk) 20:07, 25 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Content was added to paragraph on access as grazing by cattle can affect access, particularly for visitors with dogs. I have reinstated, with additional explanation, links to related content and citations.

It looks OK now with the citations but please remember to sign your talk pages posts with ~~~~. Dudley Miles (talk) 13:28, 26 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
