Judge Gail Welsh[edit]

This judge's ruling to give Turner full custody of Zachary was a critical component of his murder. Nowhere in the article is Judge Welsh mentioned. Even in the film, it was an integral part of the climatic scene of Zachary's death. We need to include mention of this judge, and not merely the psychiatrist that was fined. There is a reasonable argument that could easily be made that the judge herself contributed far more to enabling the murder of Zachary than the psychiatrist that posted bail. For it was the judge who ruled that Shirley, a known murderer, should still have full custody of the child. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 67.182.153.76 (talk) 21:47, 4 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The content of the film doesn't necessarily have to be mirrored in the article. However, in this case you're absolutely correct and it seem the article omits some extremely significant information.--Shakehandsman (talk) 22:07, 4 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]
