Death of Mort Weiss[edit]

On October 7th, 2021 after not hearing from his father for almost a week, Michael Weiss (son of Mort Weiss) responded to Mort’s 4th floor Woodbridge Virginia apartment. After discovering that his key no longer worked and receiving no answer to phone calls and knocks on the door, Michael Weiss kicked the door open and discovered his father clinging to life on the bedroom floor. The fire department and paramedics responded and transported Mort Weiss to the Woodbridge Virginia Centara Trauma Center. Mort was connected to a ventilator and appeared to slightly improve over twenty four hours. On October 10th, Mort was able to communicate with his son via head nods and shakes to indicate yes and no. He had been tested for Covid upon arrival to the center and his test results showed negative for Covid 19. Mort was however, fighting multiple ailments that were rendering his body weaker by the day. He was positive for MRSA, he had pneumonia do to aspiration, low blood pressure, a fever and heart issues. On October 12th, the breathing tube was removed from Mort and he was moved from Intensive Care to Intermediate Care where he was able to breath with the aid of an oxygen mask. He was no longer responsive to questions or outside stimuli. On the evening of October 13th, during a change of oxygen tanks, Mort succumbed to his condition and passed away. He is survived by his son Michael Harry Weiss

Note: Morts son Michael Weiss is active on social media and was recording his activities when checking on his father. He posted the video of him forcing entry into Morts apartment on TikTok and as of this update, the video had over 14 million views. It was also posted on Michael Weiss’ YouTube Channel LMSTactical.
