"Mocks" vs "satirizes"[edit]

@Manannan67 I'll admit, the article I cited doesn't use the verb "satirizes". It does, however, state that the SPI participate in "satire", of which "satirizes" is the transitive verb form. See:

"The Dodgers have, perhaps unsurprisingly, been subject to backlash for inviting the Sisters back to their Pride Night.
Clayton Kershaw, one of the faces of the franchise, has expressed his distaste for the Sisters' brand of satire."

Emphasis above is my own. It is rather straightforward to conclude that the subjects of this satire are Catholic religious sisters.

I am not aware of a way to cite a specific paragraph in a web article, but if this is possible I would be happy to alter the citation to be more precise. I would also be happy to change the citation to either of these articles (1 & 2), both of which describe the SPI as "satirical" in the first sentence, or these (1 & 2), which describe them as "satirical" within the first couple paragraphs of the article.
