Alexander Monkman[edit]

In researching Monkman Falls and Monkman Pass (which I gather are in the park, but have no cites to that so far), I found some very interesting bios on Alexander Monkman, the namesake. See here and here and here. No doubt there's more, and he's a part of Alberta history and other Prairie history, and a highly notable Metis. Beaverlodge Research Station is also involved. Posting this here for lack of anywhere more specific to put this, hopefully someone may take an interest and do the bio....Skookum1 (talk) 03:10, 30 May 2009 (UTC)[reply]
