I updated the reference link 5, the previous one wasn't working because they changed the domain from rita.dot.gov/bts to bts.gov [1]

This article feels like promotional material for MaaS services[edit]

Specifically, the "Potential Impacts" section reads, at least to me, like it was written by and/or for those with a vested financial interest in this type of service. Paragraph after paragraph of praise and benefits of ridesharing and the gig economy, with a single line offhandedly mentioning criticisms of same? That doesn't seem right. We're better than this.

I'm not sure how to fix it, which is why I'm writing this and not just editing the page. Section seems bloated in one direction.

Suggestions about information on urban mobility companies entering the space[edit]

The information about Moovit, Transit, Uber and Lyft expanding their offerings to enable MaaS, it is currently in the intro section but it looks like a detail that would fit better in the Historical Timeline section, which is where other participants in the technology are mentioned. Also, it needs citations (see Wikipedia:No_original_research).

Note that I am in favor of preserving the information and I am not advocating for removal. I think the article it is harder to understand without knowing which companies are actually working on this technology, but the information needs to be supported by external sources.

Thank you for the suggestions! I added citations for each of the relevant providers/companies as they relate to MaaS. I expanded on the already existing info. in the article by adding an additional provider/company & including the relevant citations for each provider/company listed. I am unsure how we could include this info. in the Timeline section but would be interested to hear ideas about this. 80.178.255.42 (talk) 08:29, 27 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
